A document published by Microsoft, about 900 pages, shows the characteristics and requirements that have to have a tablet hardware to be certified as Windows 8.
The owners of a tablet ARM can not disable safe boot, making it impossible to install another OS on the same device. One detail that was already known for some time, but will queue.
In tablets, the famous Ctrl + Alt + Del will be replaced by Windows + Power.
All devices must have tactile contact five points at least.
If a Windows 8 has NFC, contact marks shall include deposit products to support this technology
All computers must have Windows 8 button, lock the screen orientation, Windows key and audio controls (plus and minus volume).
All computers with Windows 8 must have a minimum of 10 GB of free disk space after installing updates, and firmware UFEI.
All tablets and convertible laptops Windows 8 will have at least one USB 2.0 port, a magnetometer, speakers, Bluetooth 4.0 (hurray), WLAN, gyroscope and accelerometer.
Cameras installed on Windows 8 devices must have a minimum resolution of 720p.
The tablets with Windows 8 will have a minimum resolution of 1,366 x 768.
Must be necessary to upgrade the video hardware drivers without rebooting the computer.
